With nearly 3 decades of service in information technology, Tony’s robust technical background lies at the intersection of technology, business and education. With a wealth of experience and credits with multiple degrees of First Class Honor Standings in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Technology Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Tony has worked with organizations such as Kodak, Nortel Networks, Telus, and the University of British Columbia. Soon after, Tony found a fascination with finance management in the world of real estate, which led him to acquire nearly a decade of further experience in the industry over various property investment projects.

Tony now indulges this enthusiasm in his work with Sutton Group Academy, where his technical expertise has been instrumental to our course development, and his passions for real estate and education have brought tremendous value to the student learning experience. Tony is a highly personable, proactive, and positive instructor, ready to help each student realize their full potential in becoming a licensed Realtor and a successful agent. With a strong emphasis on open and clear communication built on prior educational and public speaking experience in both Cantonese and English, Tony aims to deliver a comprehensive education that empowers students in the pursuit of their own unique career goals and enlightens them about the excitement of real estate. Tony’s love of coaching and mentoring students carries through in his passionate dedication to ensuring the success of everyone who comes to learn at Sutton Group Academy.

In his spare time, Tony is an avid sportsman with a love of volleyball and pro swimming, as well as a regular practitioner of martial arts such as Wing Chun and Karate. Tony loves to maintain both an active and social lifestyle, as a regular wedding MC, and as a member of a sound religious community with an emphasis on ethics and family values.
